This shop stood at the corner of Seagate and Shore Wynd and was owned by James Gibson. The shop was taken over by Stan Henderson Fruiterer in the 1930s. Theabove picture dates from the 1900s
This is the same property about 30 years later. Virtually no work or maintenance was carried out after the big storm on 31st Jan 1953 and many of the buildings fell into disrepair The ground floor shop premises were used by Percy Henley as a French Polishing workshop. This picture dates from 1958
This is a very recent picture taken December 2011 showing how things have changed and the old property is now a small shrubbery.
